Robot-avatar is the use case in which Fassi Gru participates; in this use case, the feasibility of remote physical activities is evaluated. The first results of the research activities were presented at Bauma, the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery.
The JOiiNT LAB team, a guest on the Fassi Gru stand, proposed an immersive experience for remote and delocalised teleoperation of a Fassi crane located in Dalmine (Italy). A unique experience that the guests of the stand greatly appreciated: “I believe that the teleoperation brought to Bauma will be a further piece of a broader vision of how we research the needs of our sector shortly.” – Rossano Ceresoli, R&D Manager of Fassi Gru.

QUATTRO ANNI DI INTENSA ATTIVITA’
Attivato ufficialmente nel 2020, superando anche le iniziali difficoltà causate dal Covid, JOiiNT LAB ha raggiunto i quattro anni di lavoro, primo traguardo prefissato dai partner dell’iniziativa. È quindi un buon
momento per fare il punto di ciò che è stato fatto e di quello che potrebbe generarsi da questa esperienza.
